An official order must be placed by the hirer, along with a holding cheque for 50% of the total hire fee to ensure hire of props.
The total hire charge must be paid in full by the hirer at least 21 days before delivery date. No goods will be despatched until full payment has been received.
The holding cheque will be returned to the hirer upon collection of the hired props, assuming they are in the same condition as on delivery.
If the order for hire is cancelled, the following charges apply:
- Cancellation within 14 days: Full charge
- Cancellation within 15 - 21 days: Half total charge
Any damage or loss which occurs to any or all of the hired items during the hire period will result in the hirer paying the repair cost plus a 20% surcharge, or the full replacement cost of the item(s), whichever is deemed by Stage Oddity to be most appropriate.
